Web Resources for Conservation Activism
A number of organizations make information available on the web for
people who would like to participate in national conservation campaigns.
A lot of these sites make it very easy to contact your representatives,
sometimes even supplying a letter that you can click on a button to
have faxed and/or e-mailed to the relevant politician or business
leader. Probably it is better to personalize letters, though, especially
if they are going to local representatives. Some sites also offer
the option of signing up for e-mail alerts when new campaigns are
started. Here are some examples of sites and the issues they are addressing
